Mesh Dock Lamps completed!

Hurrah! My mesh dock lanterns are now listed on my marketplace store for L$250 no transfer.

Full perm reseller kits will follow shortly, but I’d like to release them no transfer for now so any problems that arise can easily fixed.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them!

Script Memory Kit 2.60

I took my script monitor kit down off the marketplace as there were a few bugs that took their time in getting back to me, so my sincere apologies to anyone who was inconvenienced by them.

The primary bug was that the 5way floating text monitor simply did not work due to a notecard reading error. All other counters work fine however.

I have since addressed this issue and have been working on an update which will incorporate a variety of new perks – including:
- Mixed object/avatar display
- Avatar / Object icons for status lights

Prices and kit contents will remain the same as before.

Mesh Dock Lanterns 2.40

I’ve about finished scripting and testing the LODs on my brand new Mesh Dock Lantern Kit, and they will hopefully be released by the end of today or tomorrow.

The finished articles are 1400 triangles at the highest level of detail, and will be scripted to detect the region’s sun position to switch on automatically at night and off in the day time. They will also be networked to allow easy control of multiple groups of lanterns, or all lanterns in the sim.

3 different models are included:

- HighLOD: 6 prims Equivalent @ 4m tall

- MidLOD: 2.5 prims Equivalent @ 4m tall

- LowLOD: 2 prims Equivalent @ 4m tall

HighLOD models should only be used where they need to remain in view from further away. If you are always going to be near to the models before you see them, then LowLOD can comfortably be used.

4 different baked textures will also be supplied in the kit – with a UV texture to help with creating custom textures.

Signal Textured (1 prim - 2 prims cost)

As many of you may already know, Mesh Support has come to SecondLife, along with a great new physics engine and deferred lighting and shadows.

I have been working continuously since the release of mesh to develop a range of low poly, low prim functional items which include my all-new mesh dock lanterns pictured above, modular interior kits, various architectural pieces and DJ/Club kit. More stuff will be following, of course!

My past projects have been put on hold while I’ve been learning 3D, but I’m happy to say that I’m back in SL now and will be completing the huge workload I’ve made for myself.
